Process and utility packages
Refrigeration packages for terminals and plants
Refrigeration packages are skid-mounted systems that provide the mechanical cooling duty needed to condense, sub-cool or hold process and storage streams at their required temperature, a core requirement at LNG and LPG terminals, where cargo must be kept below its boiling point during storage, ship loading and boil-off management.
Key Components
- Refrigerant compressor package (screw or reciprocating)
- Condenser and evaporator/chiller sections
- Refrigerant receiver and economizer
- Instrumentation and PLC-based control panel
Applications
- LNG and LPG import/export terminals
- Ammonia refrigeration at fertilizer plants
- Petrochemical and gas processing utility cooling
Track record
TME delivered a Boil-Off Gas & Refrigeration System for Sonker at Ain El Sokhna, with Petrojet as EPC contractor and REI as technology partner, on a project valued at €24M.
