Part-turn gearboxes
Gear operators used with actuators or handwheels on quarter-turn valves such as ball, butterfly, and plug valves.
- 232: Light-duty cast-aluminium part-turn gearbox, up to 1,500 Nm, used in HVAC, fire protection, and general industrial settings.
- 232LX: Light-duty cast-aluminium part-turn gearbox with integrated limit switches for remote position indication, built for fire protection, up to 500 Nm, 2 sizes.
- 242: Robust, lightweight cast-iron part-turn gearbox for low-torque manual operation of ball, plug, and butterfly valves, up to 2,000 Nm, 5 sizes, 40:1 or 50:1 ratio.
- AB: Heavy-duty cast-iron part-turn worm gearbox for ball, plug, and butterfly valves in water, gas, chemical, and industrial service, up to 32,000 Nm.
- AB-AWWA: AB-range part-turn worm gearbox built to AWWA standards for butterfly and plug valves in water utility applications.
- ABLX: Cast-iron worm gearbox for fire-protection service with integrated limit switches for remote position indication, up to 1,620 Nm, 4 sizes.
- ABM: Motorised part-turn gearbox for plug, ball, and butterfly valves and power/process dampers, up to 2,000 Nm, ratios 34:1–200.7:1, 4 sizes.
- BR: Bronze/stainless-steel worm gearbox for corrosive environments and steam service up to +200°C, up to 7,000 Nm.
- FB: Cast-iron worm gearbox with integrated limit switches for fire protection (sprinkler) systems, meets UL1091/FM1112, up to 1,000 Nm, 5 sizes, ratios 40:1–60:1.
- HOW: Hand-operated worm gearbox with self-locking, low-lead-angle gearing for ball, plug, and butterfly valves, 9 sizes, 39,000–264,000 Nm.
- ILG-D: Manual declutchable sandwich-mount override gearbox for pneumatic actuators, 9 sizes, up to 17,000 Nm, ratios 35:1–468:1.
- ILG-S: Sandwich-mount manual override gearbox for pneumatic actuators, 10 sizes, up to 32,000 Nm, ratios 34:1–729:1.
- IW: High-torque, self-locking worm gearbox for ball, plug, and butterfly valves, 25 sizes (IW3–IW17), up to 850,000 Nm.
- MOW: Heavy-duty part-turn modulating worm gearbox for control valves, 9 sizes, up to 46,775 Nm, ratios 40:1–3,000:1.
- QTW: Rugged manual part-turn gearbox for water and gas pipeline valves, 40:1 ratio, up to 150 Nm.
- W100: Bevel gearbox that changes the input shaft direction by 90° for use with IW-series gearboxes in underground installations, 1:1 ratio.
- WGS: Subsea part-turn gearbox rated for any ocean depth, with pressure compensators, 2,200–500,000 Nm.
