Instrumentation valves

Small valves used within pneumatic and hydraulic control circuits to direct, isolate, or protect flow, as distinct from the larger process valves these systems actuate.

  • BIFOLD, Ball Valves: Quarter-turn valves that use a rotating ball to start, stop, or isolate flow.
  • BIFOLD, Check Valves: Valves that permit flow in one direction only, preventing backflow.
  • BIFOLD, Fire Safe Valves: Valves designed to maintain a safe seal even when exposed to fire.
  • BIFOLD, Flowline Pilot Valves: Pilot-operated valves that control pressure or flow within a flowline circuit.
  • BIFOLD, High Pressure Gas Solenoid Valves: Electrically operated valves rated for high-pressure gas service.
  • BIFOLD, Hydraulic Pilot, Interface, Mechanical Valves: Valves operated by hydraulic pilot signal or mechanical actuation to control hydraulic circuits (e.g. FP15 series).
  • BIFOLD, Hydraulic Solenoid Valves: Electrically operated valves for switching hydraulic flow.
  • BIFOLD, Medium Pressure Ball Valves: Quarter-turn ball valves rated for medium-pressure service.
  • BIFOLD, Medium Pressure Needle Valves: Needle valves for precise flow throttling at medium pressures.
  • BIFOLD, Needle Valves: Valves using a tapered needle for fine, precise flow control.
  • BIFOLD, Pneumatic Mechanical Valves: Manually or mechanically actuated valves for pneumatic circuits (e.g. BXS(mech), SPR16(mech) series).
  • BIFOLD, Pneumatic Pilot Valves: Pilot-operated valves that switch pneumatic circuits in response to a control signal.
  • BIFOLD, Pneumatic Solenoid Valves: Electrically operated valves for switching pneumatic (air) flow.
  • BIFOLD, Pressure Sensing Valves: Valves that respond automatically to changes in system pressure.
  • BIFOLD, Quick Exhaust Valves: 316 stainless steel valves for severe environments that rapidly vent gas, air, inert gas, or low-pressure liquid to atmosphere to speed up an actuator’s release stroke.
  • BIFOLD, Relief Valves: Automatically open once system pressure exceeds a set threshold, protecting equipment from overpressure.
  • BIFOLD, Shuttle Valves: 316 stainless steel three-way “OR” valves that automatically pass through whichever of two pressure sources is higher, for gas, air, or liquid media.
  • BIFOLD, Subsea Needle Valves: Needle valves engineered for precise flow control in subsea hydraulic systems.
  • BIFOLD, Subsea Pilot, Interface, Mechanical Valves: Pilot-operated, interface, and mechanical valves built for subsea control systems in offshore oil and gas.
  • BIFOLD, Subsea Shuttle Valves: Shuttle valves engineered for subsea hydraulic redundancy applications.
  • BIFOLD, Subsea Solenoid Valves: Electrically operated valves (FPS01/FPS10/FPS15 series) for deep-water subsea control systems.
  • BIFOLD, Thermal Relief Valves: The VRT series: protects trapped fluid volumes from pressure build-up caused by temperature rise.
  • Fire Safety Valves: Fusible fire safety valves used in onshore/offshore oil and gas production shutdown systems since 1989, in configurations for different pressure/temperature ratings.
  • Flow Control Valves: Uni-directional valves with a bypass-check feature for rapid free flow one way, or bi-directional needle valves that regulate actuator speed by controlling flow/pressure both ways.
  • High Flow Exhaust Valves: Pilot-operated, 2-way normally-closed directional control valves with automatic pressure sensing/relief, for accurate high-volume exhaust flow control.
  • Logic Valves: Compact poppet valves (1½”/2”, 1-3 port exhaust), SIL 3 capable, for low-pressure (up to 10 bar) instrumentation logic functions.
  • Needle Valves: Valves using a tapered needle element for fine, precise flow adjustment.
  • Pilot and Mechanical Valves (PPV series): Compact stainless steel low-pressure pneumatic/hydraulic valves offering high flow capacity for multi-directional flow.
  • Rotork, Spool Solenoid Valves: Electrically operated spool valves for pneumatic actuators: RNSV (NAMUR connection) and RPSV (threaded pipe ports).
